Mother Issues: August Edition Blog Carnival

The August Edition of the Blog Carnival "Recovery From Sexual Abuse" is published. This month article have been submitted and selected that address the difficult topic of "MOTHERS" and the issues that arise.

There are the mothers that stand alongside the survivor and offer great support and help for the recovery. Other mothers are distant, not-believing, or even perpetrators themselves.

Either way, survivors struggle with mother issues and a lot of time in therapy is spent processing the pain that one's mother was not there, able, or willing to protect the child from being abused.

Although a lot of issues male survivors have to deal with are similar to those female survivors struggle with, there are also significant differences. Carnival Edition October 2008: What helped-what didn't

The October 2008 edition of the Blog Carnival "Recovery From Sexual Abuse" is now out. The topic was 'What helped, what didn't help'. Although this month's carnival was hampered by difficulties the blog carnival people had with their website, I have received many interesting submissions.

The deadline for the November Edition is the 25th of November. The Subject is about how sexual abuse survivors cope with the issue of PARENTING!. Feel free to submit your own blog posts or from someone else's blog. You can also submit comments you've made on someone's posts.

This gives the opportunity to think about submitting a post for the next edition of the Carnival. The theme for October is "What helped the most - what helped the least". Again, submit your favorite blog-post for the topic - either your own post or someone elses - and we will post it in our October Edition.

The Recovery from Sexual Abuse Blog Carnival!

I have started a blog carnival and would like to invite everyone to take advantage of that. What is a Blog Carnival? It's a site where you can submit your favourite blog posts - either you own or somebody elses that you found either informative, helpful, or just great.

Each end of a month I will collate these 'best blogs' and publish them at a special website, the homepage of the Blog Carnival, where you then can find and read those posts that readers interested in the subject of recovery from sexual abuse have found useful.
